Experience a fun time at Merchandise Bingo Night! This fundraiser will be held at 7:00PM on Monday, October 21, 2024 in Fr. O’Connell Hall, located on the grounds of St. Frances Cabrini Church. Cost is $7 per person; includes bingo, food, and prizes!

We are blessed with dedicated volunteers at each of our churches who generously give their time to keep the Lord’s House clean. Currently, we are in need of additional help at the parish's Our Lady of Fatima Church and St. Frances Cabrini Church sites. (for details, click heading)

Classes for kindergarten through 8th grade for CCD Faith Formation are now in session. If you have not registered your child, please do so register ASAP. Our MQSP Faith Formation Office is seeking substitute teachers for Sunday morning classes. If you are interested in helping, please contact Deanna at 724.774.4888.

In honor of St. Francis of Assisi whose feast day (10/4) is celebrated by the Church, a service for the Blessing of Pets will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024. You are invited to bring your pets to the grounds of St. Frances Cabrini Church at 1:00PM or Our Lady of Fatima Church at 2:00PM to receive a blessing.

The Benedictine monks of Saint Vincent Archabbey, Latrobe PA will be with us this year asking for our prayers and alms for their missions in Brazil and Taiwan and for the many foreign seminarians who study at Saint Vincent and then return to ministry in their home countries. Please be generous and help them reach out to those they serve all over the world. You can join in this wonderful work of spreading the Good News of Christ throughout the world through your gifts and prayers. The missionary appeal will be the weekend of September 21/22, 2024.

After many years of faithful service, Mary Horzempa’s last day on our parish staff was Friday, September 13, 2024. We are grateful for the commitment and dedication she has shown throughout the years as a member of our staff. We are also thankful in advance for all of the ways in which she will continue to serve in the life of our parish in the years to come. Please join us in offering her our prayers and gratitude.

Interested in joining St. John the Baptist Church Adult Choir? The opportunity is here. The SJB Choir sings during the 8:00AM Sunday Mass. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings at 7:30PM in the church, beginning on October 2, 2024. A collection in response to the Benedictine Annual Appeal will be taken up at all Masses on Saturday and Sunday, September 28/29, 2024. The purpose of the collection is to help meet the community’s educational and healthcare needs. Please be as generous as your means may allow.

CCD classes will begin the weekend of September 15, 2024 for students in grades kindergarten through 8th. If you have not registered for classes, please do so as soon as possible.
