Wednesday Bible Study

The Wednesday Bible Study, which meets at St. John the Baptist Pastoral Center (1501 Virginia Avenue, Monaca), in the Faith Formation Room at 10:00AM, will view 8 DVD’s featuring presentations by Edward Sri. The group will also read from the Gospel of St. John as found in the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible with introduction, commentary, and notes by Scott Hahn and Curtis Mitch. These references will be from THE HOLY BIBLE, THE REVISED STANDARD VERSION: SECOND CATHOLIC EDITION.

The current study, which started in April 2024 and now returns, will end on October 30, 2024 and is currently scheduled as follows:

• Sep. 25, 2024 - Session 6 - Reading Text: The Law of Self-Giving (Jn 10-12)
• Oct. 2, 2024 - Session 6 - Video: The Law of Self-Giving (Jn 10-12)
• Oct. 9, 2024 - Session 7 - Reading Text: The New Commandment & Life in the Spirit (Jn 13-17)
• Oct. 16, 2024 - Session 7 - Video: The New Commandment & Life in the Spirit (Jn 13-17)
• Oct. 23, 2024 - Session 8 - Reading Text: It is Finished: A Dying and Rising Love (Jn 18-21)
• Oct. 30, 2024 - Session 8 - Video: It is Finished: A Dying and Rising Love (Jn 18-21)
