On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, the
Solemnity of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, an evening Mass will be offered at 6:00PM in the Church of St. Titus, followed by a
Table of St. Joseph Dinner in Titan Hall.
In the Middle Ages, the people of Sicily believed they were saved from a serious drought and famine through prayerful devotion to and the intercession of St. Joseph. In his honor, a meal with all was held in thanksgiving for his protection.
In the same spirit, a special meatless meal will be served featuring:
- St. Joseph’s Sawdust Pasta
- Salad & Bread
- Sfingi (fried bread dough, rolled in sugar)
Those who attend are asked to wear red, a color associated with St. Joseph.
