Scarves, Hats & Gloves Project

Amzey Budris, a fifth grade CCD student, is once again collecting scarves, hats and gloves for the homeless.  The collection period will run from now until January 5, 2025. Donations can be placed in the bin outside the Faith Formation/CCD Office at St. Frances Cabrini Church. Amzey is working with the Salvation Army and Cornerstone of Beaver County on this homeless outreach initiative. Beginning in January, the items collected will be hung on light posts in areas of Beaver County that have a high volume of individuals experiencing homelessness. These items, along with a resource card to access shelter, will provide some help in dealing with the harsh winter weather. The donated goods can be new or gently used.
