Our parish Care & Concern apostolate is dedicated to serving members of the parish community who are in need. Through the use of gifts received through baptism and confirmation, they continue to answer servant call of Christ. Through affirmation and support of one another and a strong prayer base, volunteers are inspired in this special activity by the love of the Father, the example of Christ, and guidance from the Holy Spirit.
Care & Concern has provided services to the community since February of 2000. The apostolate has been able to offer these services through dedicated volunteers. To continue, new volunteers are much needed and always welcome. Services include: participation in a prayer network; transportation; visitation of the sick, aging, and/or housebound; emergency food and home help; minor repairs or handy person’s services. Parishioners like you, who share their gifts, build an apostolate of caring in our parish community. Please consider becoming a Care & Concern volunteer. There are no meetings to attend, only a willingness on your part to share your time and talents with others in need. For more information or to volunteer reach out to one of our current volunteers: Marie Schrum at 724.728.3571 or Anna Mae Kiggans at 724-775-1530. Please leave a message if no one answers.
