As stated in last week’s bulletin, Bishop Zubik has partnered with Catholic Leadership Institute (CLI) to provide parishes with the tools and resources needed to create pastoral plans focused on evangelization, hospitality and mission.
Beginning in Lent of 2023, all parishes in the Diocese will participate in the Disciple Maker Index (DMI) Survey tool designed for parishioners to reflect upon their individual spiritual growth and engagement with the parish. The survey will be available online and in paper format for those who may need it. All responses will be confidential and the parish will only receive information about the parish community as a whole. The information gathered from the DMI will be a valuable planning tool for parishes to develop goals and action items that will help parishioners grow in discipleship with the confidence to lead others back to the church.
CLI has hosted several Diocesan Staff and Parish Leader Information Zoom sessions throughout the month of November to provide a better understanding of the CLI planning opportunities as well as the DMI survey tool and timeline. More details and information will be communicated in January as parishes plan to launch the survey on Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2022.
