Bible Study

All are welcome to attend this ongoing study class held on Wednesday’s at 9:30AM in the Faith Formation Room of St. John the Baptist Pastoral Center.

Our group is currently studying the Gospel of Matthew.  The text and footnotes are from the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible (RSV, 2nd Catholic Edition), edited by Dr. Scott Hahn and Curtis Mitch.  With each chapter of Matthew’s gospel, we will view a DVD by Jeff Cavins in which the Gospel of Matthew is dicussed in greater depth.

• On March 4th, our topic will be chapter 1, "Jesus-The Son of David, the Son of Abraham"
• On March 11th, our topic will be chapter 2, "The King in Exile"
