Baptism Preparation & Dinner

As you begin the task of bringing up your child in the Catholic Church, first time parents who wish to present their child for Baptism are required to take a one-time Baptism Preparation Class. Godparents are welcome and encouraged to participate in this informal discussion that educates parents about the significance of the Sacrament of Baptism and gives encouragement about what they are promising to do as Christian parents (and godparents). It is a delight to share the rich depth and beauty of what it means to be a Catholic parent.

We believe that every child is a precious gift of God. It is truly wonderful that you wish to share your faith with your child, for Jesus Himself said: “Let the children come to me.”

A Baptism Preparation Class and Dinner will take place on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 6:00PM in Fr. O'Connell Hall located on the grounds of St. Frances Cabrini Church. To register for class and dinner, please email [email protected] or call 724.775.6363 ext. 101.
