Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Greetings in the Lord.

Benedictine Annual Appeal
On October 2nd and 3rd, our parish will participate in the Benedictine Annual Appeal. All parishes served by Saint Vincent Archabbey are asked to help the work of the abbey through this appeal. Your gift helps us to recruit new vocations, educate our monks, and provide for the monks in our infirmary. Thank you for your generous support.

Formation of a Bereavement Committee
We are looking to form a Bereavement Committee. The loss of a loved one is a difficult time for families and we as a parish want to support our brothers and sisters in mourning. It would be great to get a group of our parishioners together to assist with sending a card to the immediate family, being present at the Funeral Mass, putting a luncheon together for the family, and other small details. A team of generous souls who might feel called to perform this act of love in the name of our parish family would earn graces for us all!

We hope to have a large enough committee that the burden isn’t always falling onto the same shoulders, with adequate representation from all four churches in our parish. Once we have our committee formed we will have a meeting to decide on the best and most efficient way to structure our work together. Please call the office at 724-775-3940.
