Financial Report
7/28/24
Dear Parishioners of Mary, Queen of Saints,
Included in today's bulletin is the Financial Report for the period ending June 30, 2024, which is compiled and prepared by the Diocese of Pittsburgh Financial Services Office. The information in the report is taken from the monthly filings our Business Manager sends to the Diocese. As you can see, the parish ended the fiscal year with a $81,562 surplus! Through the efforts of our fundraising volunteers we deposited $84,216.47 into the Parish's Operating General Fund. Thank you to those who work tirelessly to raise these funds!
One line item of interest is $651,554 for Extraordinary Maintenance Expense. We were able to complete numerous projects improving our facilities, such as new lighting in the Our Lady of Fatima & St. Frances Cabrini Churches, a new gym floor and HVAC unit at Kohler Hall, drainage issues at St. Titus and Our Lady of Fatima, electrical issues at St. John the Baptist & St. Titus, new doors at St. John the Baptist gym, and upgrades to the bathrooms at Msgr. Farri Hall as well as other upgrades and improvements we accomplished. This also includes maintenance problems which occur on a daily basis at the 15 different facilities within the parish.
We could not do the things listed in the above paragraph in addition to the liturgies, programs and services at Mary, Queen of Saints Parish without your support and generosity.
Thank you and may God continue to bless you!
Father Canice McMullen, OSB
Pastor of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish
