Thanks to all the parishioners who have already sent in donations, sold raffle tickets or provided sponsorship. If you have not picked up your Winter Carnival Raffle Tickets already, they will be in the vestibule main entrance of church for you to collect after the weekend Masses. Doing so helps save the parish on postage.
If there are any students that are looking for volunteer or service hours (Confirmation students), there will be many opportunities to get hours at the Winter Carnival. The student does not need to be a parishioner. If there is any student or adult interested in volunteering for the carnival, please call Chris Starcher 724.728.5070, Deanne Eshbaugh 724.777.9183 or Barb Brummitt 724.544.0816.
Remember to check the bulletin boards near each church entrance where you will find colorful stop signs. Each indicate items needed for the carnival. If you would, please select one or two items and bring them to the parish office or Msgr. Farri Hall on or before February 2, 2020.
Also, we are asking all Christian Mothers to donate 1 to 2 scratch-off lottery tickets (any dollar amount). These can be dropped off at the Pastoral Center or placed in the collection basket in an envelope marked “Winter Carnival”.
“Treasure Chest” is a new look to an old favorite, “Trash and Treasure.” Donations of only new or never opened items in their original package will be accepted. Additional items that are needed: tape, small boxes, baskets or bins (for the Grand Auction Raffle), as well as clear plastic for the raffle baskets.
Thank you in advance for your assistance and generosity. Great things happen when we all work together.
