Children's Group at MQSThe MQS Children's Group, for children up to 5th grade, meets sporadically throughout the year to engage in activities/events that fall under one or more of the following categories of:
- Social
- Religious
- Educational
- Athletic
Every effort is made to announce these occasions well in advance so that a place can be made in busy family schedules and better ensure the participation of as many children from across Mary, Queen of Saints Parish as possible
Some of the activities/events of the group that normally occur are: Christmas/Easter crafting, special occasion choir formation, Christmas outreach caroling, catechetical mini-lessons, and recreational play dates as well as family-focused gathering events such as Advent Kickoff and Easter Egg Hunt.
It is hoped that you will consider having your child(ren) participate in some or all of what the MQS Children's Group has to offer.

About Volunteering
The MQS Children's Group welcomes volunteers. Compliance with Diocese of Pittsburgh requirements obligates those who volunteer for a parish activity and under certain conditions complete the Diocesan Parish Volunteer Clearance process. This can be done online. Please go to our parish Safe Environment page for information.
