Registration is a commitment to a community, a way to be included in the religious, social and ministerial activities. Registration affects a parish in many ways. Census numbers determine what benefits and obligations the parish has to the Diocese; how Masses, confessions, and devotions are scheduled.
Registration is the official way to join a parish. Just attending Mass does not automatically make one a member. Young adults over 21, who have moved away or still live at home, should have their own registration. Membership requires registering—formally enrolling in a parish.
Registration shows that one belongs and makes one eligible for scheduling sacraments and obtaining sponsor certificates, as well as having access to a donation statement for taxes. If your child is enrolled in our school or our religious education program, you should make certain to register.
Additionally, it lets the parish family know it can count on you, and call on you, to assist in its mission. Registering in a parish is a statement of faith and confidence in the life and work of the parish and in Christ, our Lord and Savior.
To register, complete in full the online Parish Registration Form, then submit it. If you have any questions or desire to register over the phone, you may call the parish office for assistance.
If you are currently registered in the parish but some change has occurred that merits you update your information, you can also use the online Registration Form to do so.
