All registered parishioners of Mary, Queen of Saints are invited to participate in using our parish's custom Flocknote App. Our parish is adopting this additional new method of communicating to hopefully make it easier to get needed information to our parish members. This email/messaging tool is powered by a service called Flocknote — for sending the "flock” a "note".
The service is totally free for parishioners. No need to download anything or create a password in order to participate. Just take a couple minutes to sign up and Flocknote lets you receive email messages from the parish clergy as well as the groups and ministries that you choose. It even allows you to reply directly to messages, so that you can offer feedback in an efficient manner. Flocknotes is available only to registered parishioners. (You can use the Parish Registration online form or contact the parish administrative office to register BEFORE signing up for Flocknotes.)
Your personal information is kept totally private and the app/service lets you choose the specific groups and ministries at Mary, Queen of Saints Parish from which you would like to receive email messages. In addition to your select group and ministry communication, the parish office will use Flocknote (sparingly) to send you important parish information. Remember: you can update your communication preferences or unsubscribe at any time.

Why is my parish using this?
Our parish is implementing Flocknote because as a parish family we care about each other. As members of a parish community, we should strive to communicate more easily and effectively. Using Flocknote allows our parish to easily send information of note via email and text.
Am I ‘subscribed’ forever if I sign up?
No. The nice thing about this service is that it's always free and you can 'unsubscribe' at any time.
Is my information secure?
Yes. All of your data is transmitted across an encrypted internet connection. All of your personal information is stored in secure databases. Your information is never sold, rented or given away to any third-parties. (You can visit flocknote.com/privacy if you wish to read more about this.)
What if I don't have texting?
You can still sign up! As long as you have an email address, your church has a unique link on the Internet that you can use to sign up as well. Just enter your name and your email address, and you can still receive all messages sent out by your church.
In addition to providing its valuable email and text-messaging tool to churches, Flocknote also manages two Catholic study programs that are open to the public, free of charge:
Popes in a Year
We all know Pope Francis, and we all know St. Peter, but do you know all the popes in between? This program will send a daily (Mon-Fri) installment featuring a brief and fun overview of every pope of the Catholic Church from #1 to #266. Don't worry, we'll also put sources at the bottom for anyone who wants to do further reading! To participate in this study program, go to flocknote.com/popes.
Study the Catechism in a Year
Join the largest group in human history (120K+) to ever study the catechism together! Get one email a day (MON-FRI) and cover the entire catechism in a year. (NOTE: This year the Compendium of the Catechism is being used.) To participate in this study program, go to flocknote.com/catechism.
