Our Mary, Queen of Saints Parish is participating in a survey on discipleship as conducted by the Catholic Leadership Institute (CLI). Your involvement is needed! Please help by completing a 15- to 20-minute online survey. Parishioners can access the survey via a link on our parish website. The survey link will be available and active from Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 7:00AM until 11:59PM on Friday, March 31, 2023.
Using the recommended online method will be the most convenient, cost-effective, and efficient way to complete the DMI (Disciple Maker Index) Survey. It can be taken using a desktop computer, a tablet, or a mobile device such as a cell phone. The plan and hope is to get the highest response rate possible. Please encourage all registered Mary, Queen of Saints Parish members (whether currently active or non-active) to participate in this effort.
The survey asks parish members to reflect on their spiritual life and provide feedback on our parish efforts to help all grow in faith. All responses are confidential. (The survey follows a multiple-choice format; no written responses required.) Our parish will only receive information about the community as whole. All MQS parishioner 16 years of age and older are asked to complete it.
The information gathered will be invaluable to Fr. Canice and the various parish ministries/groups/leaders in planning for the future and helping the parishioners of Mary Queen of Saints strive to be the best 'disciples' possible. Our survey findings will be conveyed by late spring/early summer at which time the results will be shared with the entire parish regarding what has been learned.

If you desire to complete a paper version of the survey, you may obtain a blank survey from as well as submit a completed one to the Pastoral Center located at St. John the Baptist during business hours. Please note that parishioners are greatly encourage to complete the online version rather than paper, not just for the sake of convenience and efficiency, but also cost-effectiveness. Though the survey only takes a short amount of time to complete, because of the way the paper version is formatted (for scanned auto-input purposes), a single copy of it takes eleven pieces of paper. Not good for the environment or our parish budget! Such printing, stapling, packaging and postage alone presents a true challenge.
As mentioned, the DMI Survey can be taken using a desktop computer, a tablet, or even a cell phone. If you are not all that computer-savvy, perhaps ask a family member or a friend who is a bit more tech-oriented to help. And you never know — it may lead to some inspiring conversations on faith in which you might have not normally engaged! Whatever your decision, thank you in advance for your participation.
If circumstances necessitate, our homebound parishioners who are on the Parish Communion Call List are welcome to make special arrangements to receive a paper version of the survey by contacting the Pastoral Center at 724.775.3940.
