CCD Program

Dear Parent/Guardian,

The Church recognizes that parents/guardians, are the first and foremost catechists of their children.  As children enter into a program of formal catechetical instruction, parents/guardians must continue to maintain their responsibility by:

• supporting the goals and objectives of the program
• participating and committing to the growth of their children in the knowledge of the Faith
• adhering to the attendance policy documented in the Parent Handbook for the Faith Formation Program

Catechists and parents/guardians commit to each other in the spiritual growth of their students.

Through sacramental preparation and participation; small faith sharing and learning environments as well as opportunities to serve God, we hope to help nurture the virtue of faith and instill the richness and beauty of the Catholic Faith in your child(ren).

Our parish CCD/Faith Formation Office is open from August thru June, Monday thru Friday, 9:00AM to 4:00PM.  Our parish offers a choice of three sessions for grades kindergarten thru 8 from September to May for the upcoming 2025/26 catechetical school year:

• Session A – Sundays, 10:00AM to 11:15AM at St. John the Baptist
• Session B – Sundays, 9:35AM to 10:50AM at St. Frances Cabrini
• Session C – Mondays, 6:00PM to 7:15PM at St. Frances Cabrini

Our policy is always to offer an open door to anyone with questions, concerns or problems regarding the religious education of all children.  All calls are confidential.

2024-25 CCD Faith Formation Registration is now closed.  Access to the online 2025-26 CCD Faith Formation Registration Form will soon be available in the section below.  Please contact the office if you have moved or your email address has changed.

If you have a child who is in the first grade or higher who needs the Sacrament of Baptism, or a child who is in third grade or higher who has not had  preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Holy Communion/Eucharist, please contact the parish CCD/Faith Formation Office for information.
