Wednesday Bible Study

Please join the Wednesday Bible Study in the Faith Formation Room located in St. John the Baptist Pastoral Center at 10:00AM.  Our group will study Romans.  The text and footnotes will be  from  the  Ignatius  Catholic  Study  Bible  (RSV:  2nd Catholic Ed.) by Scott Hahn and Curtis Mitch. We will read the text from this Study Bible and discuss the footnotes.  For the chapters of Romans, we will also have an Ascension DVD entitled “The Great Adventure” by Jeff Cavins and Andrew Swafford.  Via the DVD, they will share insights regarding Romans. Our schedule is, as follows:

• October 5, 2022 - Session 2  Chapters 1-2: Video Presentation
• October 12, 2022 - Session 2  Chapters 3-4: Faith, Works, and Justification
• October 19, 2022 - Session 2  Chapters 3-4: Video Presentation   
• October 26, 2022 - Session 2  Chapters 5-6: Entering Into the Paschal Mystery
