Peter’s Pence Collection

The weekend of June 25/26, 2022, our diocese will take up the Peter's Pence Collection, which provides Pope Francis with the funds needed to carry out charitable works around the world of his choosing. This year’s message is “Be a Sign of Mercy”. The proceeds benefit our brothers and sisters on the margins of society, including victims of war, oppression, and disasters.  Join our Holy Father as a witness of charity to those who are suffering.

This tradition of support for the Holy Father and support for such papal efforts, is rooted in the scriptural message to take care of the poor and expresses unity with the Holy Father in two ways: through the ongoing activities of the Holy See and through the charitable works of the Holy Father on behalf of those most in need.  God bless you in advance for your generosity.
