A novena in honor of Padre Pio will be held at 7:00PM every Thursday evening beginning July 28, 2022 and concluding on Thursday, September 22, 2022 with a closing Mass at 6:30PM followed by an outdoor procession into O’Connell Hall for the Padre Pio Novena Festive Dinner. The dates, locations, and times for the novena evenings are:

September 8, 2022 - St. Titus Church at 7:00PM (w Fr. Mark Thomas)

September 22, 2022 - St. Frances Cabrini Church at 6:30PM (w Bishop Waltersheid)
The dinner on September 22nd is $35 per person and will include the following:

Please note that beginning on Thursday, July 28, 2022 and for the duration of our parish’s Padre Pio Novena (which concludes on September 22, 2022), there will be no Thursday evening 7:00PM Mass offered at St. John the Baptist Church, Monaca. Mass on those Thursdays will be said at 8:30AM. Francesco Forgione, OFM Cap., known as Padre Pio as well as St. Pius of Pietrelcina, was an Italian Franciscan Capuchin friar, priest, stigmatist, and mystic.
