Catholic speaker/author Christopher West and musician Mike Mangione, creatively weave together various presentations with live music, movie clips, YouTube videos, and sacred art for an evening of beauty and reflection on the meaning of life, love, and human destiny. The overarching premise is based on the questions: From where do we come? To where are we going?
Discerning the answers to these questions are important to understanding what it means to be human, and how to orient our lives and actions toward true fulfillment. What follows in this collaborative work, a vision of the Gospel via the lessons of St. John Paul II's “Theology of the Body”, is intended to inspire attendees to come away with a faith-filled feeling of hope that will instill a sheer wonder and joy in being alive!
“Made for More: Visions of the Promised Land” is a free event set for Wednesday, August 30 from 7:00 to 9:30PM at Corpus Christi Parish in Holy Child Church, (212 Station Street, Bridgeville, PA, 15017) and is presented with the Diocese of Pittsburgh Office of Faith Initiatives. All are welcome.
