The month of November, beginning with All Saints Day (Nov. 1) and All Souls Day (Nov. 2), is traditionally a time to remember and pray for those who have died. During this month, members of the Mary, Queen of Saints community are invited to inscribe the names of family members and friends who have died on the purple Commemoration of the Faithful Departed Form located at the entrance of each church. Those listed, along with the parishioners listed in the bulletin who have passed away during the last year, will be remembered at the Masses as well as during other prayers and devotions offered during the month of November. A candle will be placed near the basket containing the forms, reminding us of the Christian hope in eternal life and the resurrection of the dead.
