Dear Parishioners,
Blessed Feast Day! This weekend we celebrate our patronal feast, the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, for the first time. May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Saints, obtain abundant graces for our parish family.
We will observe our parish feast at all Masses, and we’ll continue our celebration at 2:00PM with our Parish Family Picnic at the Fred Taddeo Memorial Park. We will provide Cesina Sausage, (you’re the best Johnny!) hamburgers, hotdogs, side items, cupcakes and drinks. But please feel free to bring something you’ve prepared that you would like to share with your table. Special thanks to the Christian Mothers and Holy Name Society and our picnic committee! Hopefully you’ve all signed up; but if you haven’t, please come and join us anyway. Just say a 'Hail Mary' that we can find you a hotdog!!!

Viva San Rocco! Thank you to all who played a part in putting the San Rocco Festa together. The Mass, procession, and the weekend festival was a success and a wonderful way to bring people together for this great tradition in our area. The traditional foods, sweets and homemade wine added splendidly to the festivities! May San Rocco come to our aid and defend us from plague and every illness, and may his prayers assist us to grow in holiness of life.
Thank you Deacon David! Father Canice, Father Joachim, and I have enjoyed having you with us this summer and we look forward to seeing you again at Christmas. We will all be praying for you throughout this year as you prepare for priestly ordination. God bless you and protect you.
In the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts,
Fr. Jean-Luc, OSB
