2025 Parish Appeal

On this Commitment Weekend (March 1/2, 2025) please consider the wonderful works provided by the Diocese to the churches throughout the Diocese. One way to do that is to support the work of the Church in our six counties of Southwestern Pennsylvania by giving to the Annual Parish Appeal. While there are other acts of mercy and generosity that we can undertake, scripture tells us to begin with supporting the mission of Jesus Christ as it is carried out through His Church.

When you give to the Annual Parish Appeal you help your neighbors to encounter Jesus and experience His mercy, while you also cultivate His love in your own heart. Each time you put aside your own desires in order to return some of the Lord’s blessings back to Him in gratitude, you grow in virtues such as mercy and generosity. You will discover new blessings that the Lord is eager to share with those who recognize and return His love.

Of the 5700 registered families in the parish, we have 2042 active families contributing on a weekly/monthly basis. Of those 2042 contributors, we only have 729 families who contribute to the Parish Appeal program. Our goal for 2025 is $254,988. How wonderful it would be if we could double that number from 729 to 1458. Keep in mind any amount over our goal stays here at Mary, Queen of Saints!
