Dear Parish Family,  
 
It has been a great blessing to be here with you and to serve you as a priest over the past two and a half years.  You call me 'Father', and with my own sinfulness and all my shortcomings, I have strived to lead, teach, and sanctify; also to provide for, protect, and feed you, precious sons and daughters, in the Name of Christ, our One High Priest, Whose priestly instrument I humbly strive to be.
 
Your faithfulness to the Gospel, your allegiance to the Catholic Church, and your deep faith have been a daily source of inspiration and encouragement.  Not only that, but you all have made it so much fun!  This parish community is the absolute best when it comes to having a good time!  Y’all are a little crazy, sometimes over-the-top, (Hmm, wonder why I fit in here?!!) and with a lot of heart and soul; and there’s no better place to be a priest than here!  #QUIPPNACAFOREVER!  Thank you!
 
Father Canice and Father Joachim — to be here with the two of you, serving this little flock alongside you, has been a joy and a privilege.  The fine example of priesthood you both are has helped me to be a better priest.  The many ways you have compensated for my weaknesses and have put up with my flaws, I could never adequately thank you.  Isn’t it a proof for the existence of a Good God Who is a loving Father to His Church that somehow it worked!  And with you remaining here to serve these beautiful souls, it will work as you lead this parish forward.  I love you both.
 
I will be lifting you all up in my daily Masses and prayers, entrusting you all with your families and intentions to the Lord and to His Glorious and Immaculate Mother.
